Josephine Leavitt

Josephine "Jody" Leavitt Jorgensen (1927–2023) of Kaysville and later St. George, Utah, competed in the early 1960s and won the Ladies Singles title in 1962. A multi-sport competitor, she distinguished herself as an accomplished trapshooter alongside careers in bowling and golf. She earned numerous awards and accolades throughout her long life, and her competitive spirit and longevity in the sport made her an enduring example for women trapshooters across the state.
