Larry Mitchell managed the Salt Lake Gun Club for at least 30 years and played a key role in starting the Lee Kay Shotgun Center. He also founded the popular Utah State Round Robin Tournament. Larry owned several clay target companies, including Meteor. His wife Sheena and son Storm were also champion Utah trapshooters. Larry won the State Handicap title in 1990. His induction into the Utah Trapshooting Hall of Fame reflects a career and legacy deemed worthy of the sport's highest state honor.
