Ron Christensen

Ron Christensen of Goshen held the Utah State Doubles Championship in 1985 and 1994, the Singles Championship in 1991, and the Handicap Championship in 1996. He was the Utah State High All Around and High Over All Champion in 1989. Ron won AAA Doubles at the Grand American in 1997, the first year of the AAA class. He won the Western Grand Handicap Championship in 1995 and the Doubles Championship in 1988 and 1994, the Golden West Grand Doubles Championship in 1994 and 1998, and the High All Around trophy in 1994. He also won the 1986 Doubles Championship at the Spring Grand. Ron was a member of the Men's All American 2nd Team in 1986, 1990, 1992, 1997, and 1998. A past president of the Utah State Association, Ron was appointed to form the Utah Trapshooting Hall of Fame Committee in 1995, formally submitted the outline for approval in 1996, and conducted the first inductions in 1997.
